Lieutenant Robert Clontz is a 30 year veteran of the City of Tonawanda Police Department and has served as a police instructor for over 25 years. He is presently assigned to the Patrol Division as a Road Supervisor and also serves as a Team Leader on the Departments multi-jurisdictional SWAT Team. During his career, he has also held the position of Narcotics Detective prior to being promoted to Lieutenant.
Bob came to Christ approximately 18 years, after experiencing a very sad and frustrating time in his life… he called on the Lord, and the Lord answered… Jeremiah 29:11-13. Ever since being graced by the love of God, Bob has centered his life around his Lord and Savior. In obedience to God, he regularly attends the Chapel’s Crosspoint Campus, facilitates a Bible Study with fellow Law Enforcement Officers, attends Biblical studies/classes, and has become a member of mission oriented groups such as Brothers Without Borders. God has blessed Bob with the joy of sharing the Gospel, and his hope as a believer, with fellow officers by utilizing his background in Law Enforcement. Though his platform is Law Enforcement, he will sincerely share his love and hope in Christ with anyone who will lend him an ear.
Bob has been truly blessed with his wonderful wife, Krista, their three daughters, two sons, and 7 awesome grandchildren. Praise be to God! Bob and Krista reside in the Tonawanda area.
