The Future and Direction of
Responders On A Mission Int’l
We had a vision casting at a meeting on 6/24/15. We spoke about our humble beginnings as a group, and also where we want to see ourselves in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years. Please see below how we have met those goals established since then.
In February of 2017, the team explored property in the Dominican. This property is currently owned by a church that will partner with Brothers Without Borders, and allow us to build a Ministry Training Facility. We are currently praying on if this is the property that God wants us to build on
We have increased our circle of influence over the past 2 years by outreaching to new Dominican Fire Departments, as well as partnering with new American Fire Departments. We have established working relationships with Fire Departments in areas south of the City of Buffalo, as well as all the way down to Atlanta, GA. We had several firefighters from Hart County, Franklin County, and Gumlog Fire Dept. out of Georgia join us in 2017 to the Dominican.
We want to have an established program that we can use to train Dominican Emergency Services. This will include a standardized program we will use in our Ministry Training Facility, training members and certifying them in Gospel Ministry, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Suppression, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.
We want to begin to seek funding for the construction of the Ministry Fire Training Facility in the Dominican. We want to do this by either by corporate sponsorship, private donations or a combination of both.
We want to have property secured in the Dominican Republic and break ground on construction of the Ministry Fire Training Facility. We want to have most, if not all the funds raised, as well as have the deed to the property.
Brothers Without Borders wants to be an outreach for all emergency services. By 2025, we want to have a Police Division, that will outreach and share the Gospel to Police Departments in the United States, and the Dominican Republic.
